NO BOUBT THIS IS A ONE OF VERY FAMOUS AND OLDEST TEMPLE OF MAA GODDES SARASWATHI, SO ONCE LONG BACK FOR MY SONS AKSHARABHYSAM I WENT THE PLACE AND DONE THE POOJA FOR MY SONS. NOW HE IS 16 YEARS OLD AND STUDYING IN IST INTER. AND WE ARE PLANNING TO GO AGAIN. LAST YEAR I AND MY SON MASTER SAI KISHORE WENT TO HAVE BLESSINGS AND MATA'S BLESSED US AND HE SUCCEEDED IN HIS CBSE 10TH AT PICKET KENDREYA VIDYALAYA, SECUNDERABAD. AGAIN MY WIFE MRS.N JYOTHI PLANS TO VISIT AND HAVE BLESSINGS FOR 02 CHILDREN FROM MATA SARASWATHI AND HAVE TARMARIC PRASADAM, WHICH IS MOST PRECIOUS THERE., PEOPLE SAYS IF HE GET THE PRASADAM OF IT ONE IS EVER GO AHEAD IN STUDIES, N WILL HAVE GOOD KNOWLEDGE IN HIS CAREER. The temple is one of the only two ancient temples of Goddess Saraswati in India. As Saraswati is goddes of Knowledge she is being praised by each an every individual. A myth says that being to this temple and performing aksharaabhyas would make that pupil more knowledgeale and that pupil will never face faliure in his academic years. So the pupil is brought here to perform this retuals prior to starting his school. I have also being to this templ for performing this retuals but little late. It was a devine experience being there. The myth also says that the idol of goddesses is being made by Rushi Vedvyas. He used to bring handfull of sand from the river Godavari each day making some part of it. He used to meditate in the hills behind the present temple is located.
